Reception
Our reception employees will take care of all arrangements for your stay at De Betteld. On arrival you can report and sign in at the reception. If you have any questions they will be glad to answer them.
The reception is closed on Sundays.
Cafeteria/Restaurant
In our cosy cafeteria/restaurant, situated at the heart of De Betteld, there's a place for everyone. It is a meeting point where fresh coffee is always available.
It is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM till 11.30 PM.
The restaurant has a limited menu card with plate service.
The white Café
The White Café is a place, specially adapted for young people. Visitors can listen to nice music, while sitting at the bar. They can play pool billiards, darts and many other games. A part of the White Café has been furnished as a cyber café.
On Sundays the doors of the café are opened, but the counter is closed. Tea is available, however.
During the high season the café is open from 10 AM till 2 AM.
Snack bar
For a nice portion of fries, a snack or a refreshing ice cream our visitors can come to our snack bar. It is opened on Mondays through Saturdays from noon till 11.30 PM.
Betteld Shop(s)
Our shop is divide into the following sections:
- Super market a shop with a wide assortment, including many kinds of fresh and packaged food, deep fried products and utensils.
- Bake-off bakery. Every morning you will find here fresh baked rolls and a variety of bread, pastry and pizzas.
- Recreation shop with all kinds of diversions for young and old, like games and toys for playing with water.
- Camping shop with camping utilities, eating utensils and tools.
- Christian books shop besides many cd's and dvd's you will find all kinds of books, like novels, studies, gifts, picture post cards and a library.
- Pastoral encounters. When it is not too busy you can always come in for a talk, a testimony, a listening ear or just some encouragement.
Opening times Betteld Shop
During the holiday season the shop is open from 8.30 AM till 6 PM.
Outside this season, from April through October, the shop is open from 4 PM till 5.30 PM.
During the Bible study midweek conferences the shop is also open from 8.30 AM till 10 AM.
The opening times can be adapted to demand and the occupation of our park in the early or late season.
Mission Centre
In our Mission Centre many missionary organisations have bundled their forces. If you have the idea of becoming a missionary, you can find here information about projects which might be of interest to you. They will be glad to help you with your decision and guide you to the organisation which suits you best.
Rental shop
On our park bicycles, play pens, high chairs etc. can be rented. The rental shop is situated behind the big playground.
Swimming pool
You can take a refreshing dive in our heated swimming pool (13 x 13 x 1.40 m.), equipped with a water slide, and a separate pool with water playground for the children. You can relax in the lounge chairs available.
For our guests there is no entrance fee. The swimming pool is open for everybody from 10.30 AM till 7.30 PM. From 9.15 AM till 10.30 AM people older than 40 can use the swimming pool. On Sundays the swimming pool is open from 12.30 PM till 4.30 PM.
The swimming pool is open from May through August and the water is heated during the holiday season.
Wireless internet
De Betteld offers its guests wireless internet connection which can be used by anyone with a laptop, smart phone or PDA with WiFi Network card. At the reception an access code can be achieved.
Throughout our whole park there is a good signal coverage.
Terrain access
During school holidays cars are only allowed on our park for loading and unloading on the day of arrival or departure. After that the car must be parked on ond of our parking lots. Unloading on other days is not allowed. If necessary a hand cart can be borrowed at the reception.
Outside the school holidays cars may be parked at the park, near your camping place.
